Water: Flow with It!

Harnessing the Physical and Spiritual Characteristics of Water

Rodeo Drive Street Fountain 70% of our body consists of water. 90% of our brain is water. Our cells float and live in an environment made up of water, and our blood contains 90% water. Planet earth is made up of 70% water, and it is through water that life on this planet has emerged. Its significance is immense in every aspect of existence, especially when understanding human evolution, health and healing.

Science has proven time and time again that Water has memory. This concept is used in homeopathy principles, where nature’s power is stored in the memory of water. After many years of research, it has been discovered that the most fundamental water is the water you are residing in right now, along with the memory of water that you carry in you since birth from your mother’s womb!

Every day we consume around 1.5 to 2 litres of water. Depending on our body weight, the water in us continually adapts. It is possible to change our water in 2 weeks depending on the type of water we drink. One might ask, why is the kind of water we drink so important?

Since we are made up of a significant amount of water, our entire system relies on it for the body’s function and survival. This includes protecting your tissues, spinal cord, and joints, helping your body remove waste, aiding in digestion, preventing you from becoming dehydrated and so much more.

When water travels for a long time in plastic bottles, through pipes, in heat, chemicals may sieve into it, the water ends up spending a long time on shelves, etc., then the water loses its potential, and its content gets clogged. This way, the water, once full of life, can no longer deliver the minerals and nutrients; instead, its structure is rigid, lacks fluidity and becomes acidic. This is when your doctor prescribes baby aspirins to dilute your clogged pipes!

What exactly is there to dilute? Toxins, perhaps?

However, when water is pure, alkaline and ionized, it is similar to that of waterfalls. The electrolysis carried to your cells is the highest form of nutrition and minerals for your body.

Do you know that if you drink and talk to water with gratitude, the water molecules change and reflect this? The moment you are angry or tensed, the water mirrors the same and creates a block of minerals and nutrition.

The moment you drink ionized alkaline water, it is absorbed by the body at a much higher rate, creating fluidity and life in you.

This holistic water goes through an ionizing process that brings the water to life.

Water has memory, and so depending on your thoughts and emotions, it behaves in your body. Water is the creator and carrier of life.

Allow it to bring you back to life and make you feel alive.

Science helps us know the properties and function of water in the natural world. Ethics helps us decide how to preserve, protect, and distribute Earth’s water resources. Spirituality helps us identify our core convictions about the meaning and value of water.

Water is a feature of the natural world that has been a centrepiece of spiritual symbolism and religious ritual in human communities for thousands of years. With remarkable regularity across human cultures, water has been used to communicate the sacred value of life, the spiritual dimension of purification, protection and healing.

Religious rituals put aside, there are so many ways that water can bring a sense of peace and calm to your life and nourish your mind, body and soul.

“Take a slow amble by the sea, away from traffic noise and people, and enjoy the sound of the waves, like slow breaths in and out. Look out to sea, a view with minimal distractions, and feel calm descend and stresses float away.” Slow from Jo Peters

Studies show that being in and around water - a quiet blue space - allows your brain to take a meditative break due to the limited levels of stimuli. The minerals and negative ions in sea air have been shown to be good for mental well-being by improving the flow of oxygen in our brains as well as balancing serotonin levels.

If you don’t live near the sea, find your own space close to home, which could be a river, reservoir or lake, and experience the positive effects to your well-being by being close to water.

“When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.” – Rumi.

“Know, O thou possessors of insight, that true spirituality is like unto a lake of clear water which reflects the divine.”

This magical water can also be regarded as a unifying factor, it’s everywhere under different names but all from the same source.

“The ocean is one body of water but different parts of it have particular designation, Atlantic, Pacific, Mediterranean, Antarctic, etc. If we consider the names, there is differentiation, but the water, the ocean itself is one reality. Likewise the divine religions of the holy Manifestations of God are in reality one though in name and nomenclature they differ. Man must be a lover of the light no matter from what day-spring it may appear. He must be a lover of the rose no matter in what soil it may be growing.”
